Jason Wu’s new contemporary line Miss Wu launched this week at Nordstrom, and it’s sooo lovely! I’m a little obsessed with the gorgeous classic silhouettes, fun prints and all the fun pieces that have a distinct Wu signature feel. And those hats! One day I will own a big floppy hat.

Still obsessing over the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access! Here are a few of my favorites:

Calvin Klein Dress  /  Ted Baker Satchel

Lana Echo Black Diamond Ring / Lilly White Metallic Top

Via Spiga Colorblock Pump / Halogen Pencil Skirt

VC Signature Moto Boot / Kate Spade Oversized Sunglasses

Botkier Satchel / Mackage Knit & Leather Coat

Pleats. Once synonymous with the nerdiest of the nerds, now a major fashion trend. One I am obsessed with. Three pleated skirts currently, with a plan for more! My favorite is a long turquoise pleated maxi, which I have sadly already worn to it’s last threads. So I’m on a mission for a new favorite, maybe something in a more classic shade that I can dress up or down. But I love those bright colors! Hmmm, maybe one of each…

grey / purple / yellow / black

My latest obsession is Mackage. A friend has one of their amazing winter coats – I’ve been checking the site weekly waiting for my favorites to go on sale. I’ve heard they’re well worth the investment, but the budget’s a bit tight right now. Last week I stumbled across their new spring campaign, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I might just have to invest in a gorgeous new spring dress too!

Preppy, classic clothes are always the first thing I’m drawn to. The clean lines, the timelessness; they get me every time. One of my goals this year is to start accessorizing more, adding a bit of pizzazz to my wardrobe. I love these classic looks with a bit of a modern touch.

All the Fall 2012 Collections are out and right now I’m dreaming of lady-like things.
While Kate Spade will always be my first love and go-to, the Diane von Furstenberg
Fall 2012 Collection is filled with gorgeous, shapely, feminine pieces that I adore.

I can’t wait for fall, but for now maybe I’ll settle on a sweet pair of shoes.
