Ok, so maybe this last one is just a wish, but I love these!
I love sweater season! And all the other great fashion that comes along with it. Fall is far-and-away the best season for wardrobing. And J. Crew always does it right on point.
Clockwise: This jeweled short-sleeve sweatshirt is at the top of my fall wish list! The boxy short sleeved look has been a fave of mine for a while now. Chinos with a tuxedo stripe are super sharp – a step up from a basic, but still very wearable. And the bouclé sweater jacket worn with them is simple but polished, another great everyday item. Look 3 is sweet perfection. I love a slightly flared skirt, so flattering. I’m pretty sure I already have a peter pan collared sweater, but I could always use another… And shorts dressed up? I’ve been meaning to try this look out for a while this summer, but I think I just needed the right pairs of shorts.

We moved this weekend! It was the hottest weekend yet and we spent all of Saturday moving and unpacking, but it was completely worth it to be able to sit on our own back patio yesterday as the sun went down, enjoying this gorgeous Seattle weather (more house photos coming soon!). I was rooting around the internet last week looking for decor inspiration when I stumbled back across the amazing work of Todd Selby again and spent a little time perusing the amazing spaces of Gray Foy and Joel Kaye. I love the color choices in their home, interesting pieces of art and unique use of space. And the lighting! I can’t wait to get an amazing light fixture…

We’ve got just under one month left until our Palm Springs vacation and I can hardly wait. I’m desperately in need of a little sun and relaxation. And maybe a new swimsuit. Lately I’ve gone for a little more coverage, but something about California makes me want a little bikini again. In a fun print. Maybe I’ll even get a teeny bit of tan on this Seattle skin!
The long awaited return of Shanna Murray is here! I fell in love with her gorgeous hand made pieces long ago. The wall decals, downloadable art and giftables in her shop are so lovely. And she even did a few things for West Elm! Her photos and art have been gracing the backdrop of our laptop for months now and these new prize ribbons just in time for Valentine’s Day are the sweetest.
