My little sister’s engagement party is tomorrow, and on the search for sweet things I ran across this lovely little jewelry shop, Digby and Iona. ‘The Wood’ collection can be customized with any two set of initials. Is it the sweetest?

I’m also madly in love with the ‘Signet’ collection – it’s so tough and dreamy at the same time. Reminds me of something from a fairy tale!

Happy Weekend All! I hope your days are filled with sunshine and loveliness. We’re resting up on this Friday night for a busy weekend. Meeting with a financial adviser for the first time tomorrow… so we can start getting all our things in line to buy our first house! Even though the actual buying part is months and months away, it’s so exciting. But of course, now I’ve only got house things on the brain.
Here are a few of my recent favorites from around the web.

I’d love to have a classy bar in my home.
Tiny jam jars repurposed.
Fantastic baby room theme.
DIY Gold Frames.
A pop of color.
This gorgeous mobile.
Diane von Furstenburg’s New York apartment.
A very kitschy tumblr.
What a great housewarming gift idea!
Beautiful bare bulbs.
My dream: a wall of books.

Did I mention I’m on jury duty right now? I guess not, since I’m not supposed to talk about the case.
It is driving me a bit crazy though – I don’t keep things bottled up very well! The days are a bit slow, but terribly interesting at the same time. Fortunately, each one is peppered with a number of small breaks… in a small back room. I’m so grateful that they have WiFi in the courthouse; I’ve been able to peruse the online world to my heart’s content. Some of my favorites from this week:

Bedroom Art.
A beer tasting party.
Gorgeous chunky cardigan.
Step 1 to great banh mi: pickled vegetables.
Glamorous headpieces.
Homemade service.
The best macarons in the world.
Beautiful furniture from reclaimed materials.
Print dress.
Polenta for breakfast? Or anytime? Yes please.
Black walls are so dreamy.

(ps) The bouquet pictured above was for my Nana’s 86th birthday this weekend, from Pike Place Market  – the very best place in Seattle to get flowers!

Thanks to our amazing blended family, December is packed with holidays. First up, Hanukkah, then the Solstice, and Christmas!  Although I’ve dragged my feet, per the usual, on holiday shopping, I have been hoping to at least package my last minute gifts well! Here are a few of my favorite simple ideas this season:

A simple snowflake from How About Orange:

Confetti Fun with Hip Hip Hooray:

Stamped & personalized from The Haystack Needle:

Simple, lovely yarn from Martha Stewart:

Fabulous! Now off to find presents to wrap!
