One of my favorite current wedding trends is the photobooth. We rented one for our wedding (the most amazing team 321foto!), but I love the look of these sweet homemade ones too! Such a great way to create additional keepsakes for you and all your guests, perfectly personalized. I love seeing the pictures from our wedding photobooth pop up again and again in my feeds. Such fun and fabulous memories!
As simple as hanging up a gorgeous piece of fabric, a bit of cut out cardboard, a wall of sequins, an empty frame, or, if you know someone really talented, this gorgeous chalkboard backdrop.
Here’s a little taste of our wedding booth hilarity.
My favorite sort of wedding DIYs are the sort that are good for something besides just a wedding! I had all these grand plans to craft for my wedding, but really never got it together in time. This tote feels like the perfect place to start. I adore Liz of Say Yes To Hoboken‘s Blank Canvas Tutorials, and the beautifully simple neon dot tutorial is definitely my fave. Maybe a craft party is in order! Haven’t had one since I was about twelve…
So cute! All you need is a blank canvas bag, fabric paint and a pencil.

Wow. Serious red alert here. I’ve always had a soft spot for bright wedding dresses. The first dress I tried on was a vibrant yellow dress at Luly Yang. It was a little more drama than I was going for, and I ended up falling in love with a dress in a more classic shape, but I still dream about it!
And these gorgeous, rich reds are equally swoon worthy. Vera Wang always does bridal perfectly. Would you wear a bright wedding dress?

Last night we had dinner with my sister and her soon-to-be-husband, dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant and drinks afterward at a pretentious little Prohibition-era speakeasy style bar. I love it, but it is a bit pretentious. That said, the drinks are fantastic and the service is usually very good. The conversation turned, as it usually does with engaged couples, to the wedding planning. Now that my sister has her heart set on an eclectic vintage wedding, the groom-to-be is starting to form his own ideas of what and how, and he was trying to describe exactly what he’s thinking for the men. I had a picture before he even said the words, “O Brother, Where Art Thou?”

My little sister just got engaged (hooray!) so we’ve started pinning away all our ideas on a mutual Pinterest board. She’s thinking vintage-esque, which is so fun to research, since it’s a different direction than I took (just last year!)
