Some people opt for no bouquet at all – which I love because then the whole focus is on you! but I needed a little something to hang onto. And some are probably still as in love with the idea of bouquet options as I am. For those with a little less traditional style…

Two of my dear friends were recently engaged and it got me pouring over our wedding photos and remembering all the little things that really made our day.

I instantly thought of three things: our amazing photographers, brilliant day-of coordinator (above), and the gorgeous venue. For these things I will, it’s worth every dime. They made the day!

Our photographers were a fantastic wife-husband team, and of course because they’re photographers we don’t have any pictures of the fabulous pair, but in the beatiful photo above of us dancing, you can see our dear friend Sally on the right taking another wonderful shot from another angle. The photos still make my hear swell. I couldn’t have asked for more.

The other thing I highly recommend is Etsy for the most unique and personalized things:

What about you? Did you have a wedding? What were your must-haves?

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of a little color injection at a wedding. Such a bright and festive occasion should be decked out to match the feeling of it all! Although I wore a white-ish dress to our wedding, I’m definitely a fan of the non-white (I almost wore a yellow one!) or something with a pop of color. These lovely petticoats have always been a favorite of mine and have a fabulous fifties flair. I hope I can find an occasion to bring them into my own wardrobe even though I’m already married…

Gorgeous!

One of my favorite current wedding trends is the photobooth. We rented one for our wedding (the most amazing team 321foto!), but I love the look of these sweet homemade ones too! Such a great way to create additional keepsakes for you and all your guests, perfectly personalized. I love seeing the pictures from our wedding photobooth pop up again and again in my feeds. Such fun and fabulous memories!

DIY photobooth

As simple as hanging up a gorgeous piece of fabric, a bit of cut out cardboard, a wall of sequins, an empty frame, or, if you know someone really talented, this gorgeous chalkboard backdrop.

xoxo.

Here’s a little taste of our wedding booth hilarity.
